Myddelton house offices feature 8 sets of lift and slide doorsets and flush casement windows which were pre-glazed with 24mm sealed units comprising of 4mm heat soaked toughened and 6.4mm softcoat laminated glass. Clear finger jointed redwood heartwood was used which is stable and durable. It is knot and resin pocket free which ensures the coating does not suffer from brown stains and resin breakouts and provides the ideal substrate for long term coating performance.

A number of fixed light screens and large angular screens were designed and manufactured by George Barnsdale & Sons. Additionally, the project included the supply of fully reversible casements and inward opening doors at the entrance of the building.

This project used high quality Siegenia ironmongery and was registered on the Sikkens Sentinel plus programme which offers up to 25 years paint manufacturers warranty.
