Introduction
Barnsdale have been manufacturing Box Sliding sash windows for over 100 years. The exceptional life of Victorian windows was partly due to the attention paid to sealing the joints between the jamb and the cill. We still pay particular attention to this. Sealing the joints with resorcinol formaldehyde and running the front liner through the cill. Our standard design looks almost identical to an original Victorian window but has exceptional weather performance, is free from rattles and will last for decades with minimum maintenance.

Warranty
We can offer the following warranties on this product:
25 years coating warranty when coated with sentinel plus coating system. Warranty is extended to 30 year when used with Accoya timber.
10 years coating warranty when coated with an opaque coating.Warranty is extended to 12 years when used with Accoya timber.
6 years coating warranty when coated with an translucent coating. Warranty is extended to 10 years when used with Accoya timber.

Our Traditional Box Sliding Sash windows fully comply with the latest standards for both weather performance and security and are Kitemarked by the British Standards Institution. They were one of the first range of windows to be tested to BS6375 2004 by BSI testing.
