Door Hinge Adjustments
The adjustable hinges fitted to Barnsdale doorsets can be simply adjusted without unhanging the door as shown below.
Adjustments
The horizontal and the vertical adjustment is to be carried out without unhanging the door.
Open the door by appr. 90° and adjust the sash vertically (+/- 3 mm) by turning the “V” screw in the set hinge. Adjust the sash horizontally (+/- 2 mm) by turning the “H” screws in the upper and the lower guide hinges.
WARNING:
DO NOT USE AN ELECTRICAL SCREWDRIVER, use a hand screwdriver and do not over tighten, or you will damage the hinge
Maintenance
These hinges are virtually maintenance-free, however periodical cleaning of the hinge is 
required to prevent damage to the hinge finish. To clean the hinge use a soft damp cloth (no detergent) and dry with a soft cloth.
DO NOT OIL or GREASE THE HINGE The hinge bearings are maintenance-free and do not require oiling or greasing. To do this will damage the bearing. Ensure that the hinge screws are kept tight and the hinge-pin is fully engaged in the hinge from the top.
