Traditional Timber Bifold Doors
Combining traditional aesthetics with modern performance, our timber bifold doors can be configured to work exactly as the space requires. We offer a number of layout and opening options for both inward and outward doorsets – please refer to the Design tab to view these options.
To allow for the easy creation of a clear opening, the design incorporates discreet magnetic door catches and holders. The magnetic catches allow the swing door to hold to the adjacent panel with minimal effort.
To enhance the ease of operation the timber bifold doors also incorporate a low resistance sliding mechanism and intermediate door handles. The intermediate door handles negate the need to reach and bend to open the doorset, meaning that the doorset can be consistently opened and closed with ease.
For high levels of security the bifold design incorporates a multi-point locking system and cylinder locks that meet TS007 3 Star British Kitemark standards. Excellent weather performance is achieved by the use of weather seals on the door leaves and within the track.
In addition, concealed gaskets and sealing plugs between the doors and the frame ensure that the entirety of the frame is completely sealed when the door is closed. Also, adjustable lock keeps help to maintain the perfect balance between ease of closing and tight weathersealing.
To meet your precise project requirements we also offer a broad selection of glazing options including safety and security glass, acoustic glass and triple glazing. To browse our glazing options please refer to the Materials tab.
