Traditional Timber Entrance Door

Security is intrinsic in the design of our timber entrance doors. We incorporate multi-point locking and the most advanced locks as standard. To meet the challenging standards of PAS 24 and The Building Regulations 2010: Security-Dwellings (Approved Document Q), all entrance doors can be specified with security laminated glass.

Whilst we offer a range of standard entrance door designs, we can manufacture to bespoke project requirements. A selection of paint and stain finishes, glazing options and an extensive collection of door furniture is available to allow for high levels of customisation across our timber entrance doors. To browse all options, please see the Materials and Furniture tabs.

To suit a wide variety of applications we offer three locking systems, all of which are compatible with electronic access control:

  • Standard locking system - Ideally suited to doors that do not open directly onto a public space, our standard locking system has a key operated cylinder to deadlock. The system incorporates handles on both sides of the door which operate the latch and the multi-point locks.
  • Auto-locking system - With this system the multi-point locks are automatically triggered when the door is closed and as such is most practical for those doors that open onto a public or communal area. Only one handle is incorporated and this is located on the internal facing side.
  • Heritage locking system - Working in the same way as the auto-locking system, the heritage system has a higher lock position and internal thumb turn to replicate a traditional latch.

Our timber entrance doors derive their air of quality from their weight, fit and movement. To ensure all doors continue to open and close with ease our designs incorporate adjustable hinges and lock keeps.
