Our single timber doors, commonly used as timber back doors, are available in a wide range of styles and designs. They are generally simpler than our entrance doors, making them well-suited to kitchens, utility rooms and secondary entrances where a clean, understated look is preferred.
They also usually feature more glass than our entrance doors, which allows additional natural light into the home. Our timber back doors can be made to open inwards or outwards. Where space inside is limited, it can be beneficial to have the door opening outwards.
When it comes to security, our back doors can’t be beaten. All of our single timber doors meet the requirements of PAS-24 and are Secured by Design. Your door will be fitted with multi-point locking as standard, with cylinder locks and a choice of standard or auto-locking systems. This system has a single handle on the inside only. When the door is closed, the multi-point locking engages automatically, without the need to lift the handle or turn a key. This helps ensure the door is always secured as soon as it is shut.
Tested to exposure category 2000, the highest classification. Designed to perform reliably in exposed conditions and protect the home from wind and rain.
A-rated as standard, with triple-glazed options available. Timber frames and glazing help reduce heat loss and support energy efficiency.
Finest adjustments to ensure optimal fitting, closing perfectly all year round.
Environmentally friendly designs, materials and processes, with timber used as a renewable resource.
Great performance as standard and extensive test data to guide specification for optional enhanced acoustic performance
Tested to PAS 24 and to meet the requirements of Secured by Design as standard
For improved acoustic performance and safety
Dual seal design provides excellent draught proofing
Our range of styles, finishes and glazing options makes it possible to create a single timber door that feels right for your property. Every door is made to order, giving you control over proportions, detailing and overall appearance.
