Timber French Doors
The original patio door, French doors provide a timeless and traditional feature to effortlessly tie a property and garden together. Providing exceptional levels of performance and durability, our timber French door designs are available in a number of layouts, with the option of glazed sidelights and fanlights to the side of and above the door themselves.
With a choice of paint and stain finishes and the option of dual colour, coupled with a selection of door furniture, our timber French doors can be completely customised to meet the requirements of your project. We also offer two types of locking system to support period designs.
Similar to our entrance, back and stable door designs, all timber French doorsets incorporate multi-point locking and the most advanced cylinder locks. To meet Part Q requirements, security laminated glass can be incorporated. We would recommend this if the doorsets are to be located at ground level or at the rear of the property.

Multi-Point Locking (for High Security)
Concealed multi-point locks with integrated shoot bolts in the secondary door provide security as well as support along the length of the door to help prevent movement.
Advanced Cylinder Locks (For High Security)
We only fit cylinder locks that meet the TS007 3 Star British Kitemark and the SS312 Sold Secure diamond standards (the highest rating in both schemes). We also offer a number of key options including ‘keying alike’ and ‘master keying’.
Security Laminated Glass (For High Security)
To meet the challenging standards of PAS 24 and the Building Regulations 2015: Security-Dwellings (Approved Document Q), all timber French doors can be specified with security laminated glass.
Concealed Gasket (Excellent Weather Performance)
When the doors are closed, the concealed gaskets between the door and frame ensure that the entirety of the frame is completely sealed. This provides excellent performance against the elements.
Adjustable Hinges & Keeps (For ease of operation)
Our designs incorporate both adjustable hinges and keeps which allow the doorset to be set after installation and help to maintain the perfect balance between ease of closing and tight weathersealing.
Concealed Restrictor (For ease of operation)
All outward opening French doorsets are fitted with a restrictor to limit opening to 90 degrees to prevent damage from being blown in the wind.
Traditional French Doors
Designed for renovation and traditional new build projects, our Traditional Range combines period-matching styling with exceptional performance.
Available as both inward and outward opening, our Traditional French Doors incorporate a two handle locking system. This operates by the master door locking into the slave door, with the slave door having both top and bottom shoot bolts which are operated by a handle.
Historic French Doors
To meet the needs of listed properties, the Historic Range provides sympathetic replacement though accurate period design and original glazing methods.
To replicate the aesthetics of period French doors, our Historic French doorset features a one handle locking system. The master door is operated by a handle and the slave door has shoot bolts both top and bottom which are operated by a concealed lever that is accessible when the master door opens.
